Ex-Sony Worldwide Studios boss, now Atari president (and always an exceptionally tall man), Phil Harrison this week throws in his tuppence on the state of the PSP, stating that the handheld is still doing well, and that the future of the device remains bright.
Speaking with UK games site Eurogamer.net this week, Harrison tells the world that Sony are doing all the right things and that Atari will continue to support the format.
"There is no doubt that PSP is a very vibrant platform from a hardware perspective and I think Sony has recently made some good moves into opening up online distribution for software on PSP, so I’m looking to explore that," offered Harrison.
"We have published on PSP and I’m sure we will continue to publish on PSP; we didn’t have any announcements to make today." ...
